Gabrielle works as a Primary Therapist at SOBA College Recovery. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Chicago, where she majored in Cinema and Media Studies. After several years working in advertising, she changed her professional focus, and went back to graduate school to earn her Master’s in Social Work from Rutgers University. Prior to College Recovery, Gabrielle worked as a Senior Counselor at Integrity House Women’s Outpatient Program, where she served women with children and worked to help reunite families.
Gabrielle works from a strengths-based and solution-focused perspective, utilizing Motivational Interviewing and Person Centered Therapy. She strongly believes that each person can grow into the best versions of themselves and develop a more authentic sense of self, provided they are given the proper guidance and forum to do so. She strives to build genuine and meaningful relationships with her clients, and believes in the therapeutic rapport as the most powerful vehicle for healing.
When Gabrielle is not working, she enjoys long distance running. She is currently training for the New York City Marathon. Gabrielle also enjoys traveling, and has spent time living and learning in countries such as India, China, Italy, Israel, and Morocco.
